On Saturday April 27, 2013 members from the DFD attended a flashover class at the Atlantic County Fire Academy (ACFA). Twenty two members were on hand for a two hour power point in a classroom setting. After the power point and a safety briefing members were then broke into two crews for their time in the simulator. Once inside the simulator crews observed smoke conditions and early signs of trouble. Crews also observed several flashovers and how quick they can happen.
